How to get there? Most safaris start or end in either Maun or Kasane. Road transfers can be arranged, but for the best safari experience we recommend the use of charter flights from your international airport of arrival (Johannesburg, Harare, Bulawayo, Victoria Falls or Gaborone) and from one safari location to another. Group sizes: All Mobile Tented Safaris rates are based on a minimum of 4 people to guarantee a departure. Maximum number of guests is 8, can do bigger groups on request.

Ideal length of stay: Anywhere between 10 days and 4 weeks – from our experience spending three nights in each area gives you the opportunity for quality game viewing.

Safari Activities: Activities consist in open-air vehicle game drives and, when possible, night drives with spotlights, walking safaris, and game viewing from hides.

Game drives: Game drives are conducted in reliable open four-wheel drive Land Cruisers. For your safety and comfort, these have been custom-built by specialists in safari vehicle modifications. Each vehicle is canopied, seats seven passengers and is fitted with padded individual bucket seats. Snacks and ice cold drinks are available on all drives.

The Mobile Tented Camp

Camp situation: our staff prior to your arrival at each camping location sets up the camp.

Capacity: 8 beds per mobile, but can do bigger groups on request.

Accommodation: Luxury tented camp. Our luxury-tented camps offer twin-bedded luxury accommodation in spacious, insect proof Meru style tents, with bush-bucket shower/toilet en-suite. Your tent measures approximately 12ft x 16 ft. (3m x 4m). Bathrooms are permanently attached to the tents, with flushing toilet and bucket shower that is roofed and also insect proof. Washbasins are placed outside your tent and filled with hot water by our staff.

Facilities: A separate tent is set up for breakfast, brunch and dining. Our experienced camp staff is available all day to see to your every need and ensure your comfort at all times. Guests are not expected to participate in any camp duties, allowing for complete relaxation.

Cuisine: We pride ourselves in offering delicious cuisine prepared in traditional style. After a light breakfast you begin a day of adventure. On your return to the camp after a morning activity you will have an excellent brunch when you then may relax. Afternoon tea and a further activity are followed by cold drinks and snacks by the campfire, and then a delicious dinner.
