While growing up on a farm in the lush green hills of the Southern English countryside, Rita found a passion for nature and a love for animals. After finishing school and choosing a science related career in Switzerland, Rita packed her bags and flew to Africa to explore the southern part of the continent with it‘s magnificent stretches of untamed wilderness - home to the big game of our Earth.
However, Rita was also drawn to other tropical areas, exotic cultures and contrasting continents rich in wildlife. After backpacking her way around South East Asia and China, camping her way through the vast outback of Australia, cycling through the farmlands of New Zealand and finally travelling from North to South through the most untouched and unexplored areas of the African continent, Rita gained a rich and invaluable understanding of living within a wilderness - fascinated by the natural beauty and the delicate balance of the flora and fauna. From the dunes of the Sahara, the depths of the Congolese jungle, the savannahs of East Africa and the bushveld of the South, Rita encountered all kinds of natural habitats - home to an array of amazing wildlife.

The desire to work within a natural environment combined with the enthusiasm to show others this awe-inspiring corner of our Globe, led Rita to seek a profession as a safari guide. After passing an exam and obtaining a professional guides licence in Botswana, Rita spent a full-filling career in guiding guests through the pristine waters of the Okavango Delta, the arid bush land of the Kalahari Desert and the rich wildlife areas of the Zambezi and Chobe Rivers.
Rita now lives with her family in Switzerland and continues to facilitate travel to some of the greatest safari areas in remote unspoilt wildernesses.
